Founded in 2019, Cote Architecture is a design-focused studio specializing in simple, modern work grounded in craft, detail and the influences of site. The work is also informed and guided by a respect for the beauty and simplicity of the traditional New England vernacular. The projects center around residential work as well as small and interesting commercial and hospitality projects.
Our successful projects have been the result of our willingness and ability to view our clients as true collaborators, and we work intently on understanding their intimate needs and hopes for their projects. We focus on a thorough understanding of the design, program and site issues, and we suggest clear, elegant and imaginative design solutions. We also pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve developed with the craftspeople who transform the ideas into reality. These relationships, founded on respect and furthered through open communication and a team-based approach, have resulted in very successful and highly rewarding projects.
